This elegant painting with its serene hues of blue, green and grey conveys the mesmerizing tranquility of the sea anemone, in its harmonious relationship with the reef fish.
Creatures in the Wind

This beautiful piece is one of my favourites, and hangs in our home. It shows various creatures with their noses in the wind. If you look carefully, you’ll be amazed at how many animals you’ll see in the picture.
Oblivion

Oblivion hangs in a private home in Noosa, and depicts the blissful oblivion of a cat in slumber, unaware that its dinner is flying overhead.
The Glasshouse Mountains
Acrylic on Canvas (Sold)

The Glasshouse Mountains is an impressionist version of the Sunshine Coast's famous Glasshouse Mountains, adopting styles reminiscent of Van Gogh and Monet. It hangs on a feature wall in a private home in Brisbane.
Web of Life
Australiana Collage, 104cm x 81cm, AU$880

This magnificent Australian collage reflects the greater web of life of which we all are a part. Showing a cormorant diving into the great Ocean to catch a fish, which in turn is feeding on mussels, this dynamic scene is created entirely from "collectables" obtained from Caloundra beaches.

You will notice the famous "Pumicestone" (after which Pumicestone Passage was named), in addition to shells, wood, pine, paper and bark. A "living treasure", Web of Life is box-framed, and uses an exquisite Italian frame to create a sensational masterpiece.
Microcosm I
Oil, Acrylic, Embossing (Sold)

Microcosm I and II was commissioned by a Registrar of the Brisbane Family Courts, for her private chambers.

These magnificent pieces depict the microcosm of the rainforest.

In addition to the obvious orchids and Kingfisher, various small creatures may also be spotted blending into the background of the rainforest.
Microcosm II

The Texture of Australia
Pastel (Sold)

This was one of Artemis’ earliest professional pieces. It was created in 1990, when Artemis was on a retreat in Sydney’s Pittwater area.

Outside of the home she was staying in was a magnificent Eucalyptus tree, with bark peeling off in an awesome array of colour.

It is this tree which inspired the art work.
Femininity
Charcoal (Sold)

The essence of female beauty is portrayed in this lovely nude, which hangs in a private home in Brisbane.
The Evolution Of Life
Oil, Acrylic, Embossing (Sold)

The Evolution of Life was part of the same commission as The Fairies Cave, and hangs in a private home in Newcastle.

It depicts the evolution from plants, crystals and water to human and animal form, and then to the higher realms of angelic beings.
The Fairies' Cave

The Fairies' Cave hangs in a natural therapies clinic in Newcastle.

The commission was to paint a picture which incorporates crystals, water, fairies, Pegasus and plants, representing the elements of earth, air, water and fire.

"Art is a dance on paper. It is an expression of life and love, a fingerprint of Spirit, marking an instant of time in a medium of timelessness. When I create, time passes me by. I lose myself in the instant, absorbed in a creative meditation. I watch with wonder as the images unfold onto the canvas, their aliveness and "Spirit" touched by a higher hand." - Artemis

Creation has always been a part of my life. Although I’ve never been formally trained in art, it is a skill and passion I’ve enjoyed since childhood. Art is a means of expressing my love of nature, and Spirit.

In 1995 I attended classes in Expressive art, and by 1996 was selling my work professionally.

The word "Expressive" is a very appropriate description for my creations. I am non-traditional, will experiment with any medium (including mixed media and collage), and have a natural feel for beauty, ambience, colour and balance. My passion for nature and the human form has inspired me to produce mixed media collages, paintings and drawings that express the tranquility of the Australian landscape, the beauty of the Feminine, and the transcendental nature of Spirit.

In 1996 I began combining my two loves - Art and Spirit - with an adventure into Spirit Guide Drawings. These dynamic sessions combine my artistic abilities with my experience as a professional clairvoyant to reproduce the energy, wisdom and radiance of your Angel and Spirit Guides.

In the year 2000 I took on a new challenge – to design a 24 metre feature wall for AussieWorld, a well known theme park on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. A sign writer turned my cartoons into life-size figures, and this feature wall is attracting amazed attention and generating great interest for AussieWorld. I loved playing with cartoons, extracting and developing the characters and the humour. The design still raises a laugh from me, and it’s a joy to see my work in grand scale on public display.

My artwork has also been displayed in exhibitions and/or galleries in Sydney, the Sunshine Coast, Cairns, Brisbane and Indonesia. My clients come from all walks of life, and include art collectors, solicitors, engineers, hairdressers, council members, investors, and many private clients. I now work by commission only. If you are interested in purchasing my artwork, or would like to enquire about a commission, please contact me .
